How do I know if this will work for me?

You've been through so much trial and error already.  Spent a lot of time, effort and money trying to find what is actually going to change the pain so I understand why this is an important question to ask.  And yes, the program costs money so it likely feels like you are taking a big risk (and our survival brain doesn't like risk). But the question I would ask you is, what if it does work? I screen participants up front to be sure that all who join are good candidates. I screen for both readiness to do the work and the type of pain you are living with. If however,  you get through the full program (and you can show me that you have put in the work) and it did not work for you then I will refund your money, removing the risk for you.

How do I participate if I am having a high pain day(s)?

We are here to change your pain so we will encourage you to show up weekly, put in the time and effort (sometimes just minutes per day) to truly have impact. To rewire the brain and to move away from debilitating pain we must practice and take baby steps each and every day. When pain tells us to avoid or to turn away from activities (or lessons or practicing) we need to gently, lovingly head towards those activities to rewire the brain in small doses. But just in case, you will have access to recordings when absolutely necessary.

How are you qualified to help me?

As a migraine and headache girl (ever since I can remember) I put these skills to practice regularly. As a coach, I have studied the human body and been in the health and wellness field for over 30 years.  I have learned from the best, Dr Rachel Zoffness, Dr David Butler and Dr Lorimor Moseley and so many others. I am a certified Wellness Coach that specializes in chronic pain and I am a certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and In Graded Motor Imagery. I am also a certified Pilates Instructor.

How long do I have access to the materials?

The course runs for 16 weeks but you will have access to the course for one full year. I limit the time only to encourage you to get through this program in a timely manner. I don't want you to have to live with debilitating pain any longer.

As a participant what will you expect from me during the 16 weeks?

I look forward to guiding you through the 16 weeks as you take ownership over your recovery. In order to do this I highly encourage you to show up regularly, engage, participate and practice these new skill sets. In order for us to truly have an impact, in order for us to retrain the brain, we must practice daily...even on the tough days. Some of these tools take only minutes a day to practice (and some of them can be fun...yup, I said fun) but they need to done regularly, otherwise we fall back into familiar patterns. The course consists of self paced learning, group coaching, and home practice as well.

What do you mean by Alpha?

Alpha simply means that this time around will be our very first time through the program. I have reduced the price significantly as we work through all the moving pieces of the program (there will inevitably be some bumps in the road on our first run of the program). In return, I will be looking for your feedback (as it will only make the program better) and your testimonials.

Will I be pain free in 6 months?

Pain is very complex and we have made such gains into chronic pain treatment in the last 20 years. Even though we have come so far, there is still so much to learn. I wish I could say that this program will rid you of the pain completely but that is simply not the case. It is my aim to help you to help yourself reduce the amount of pain you feel so that pain becomes just a noise in the background. I will teach you the tools and strategies to help you get back to living a life that is fulfilling with less pain.

Is this program covered by insurance?

Unfortunately both our current model of treatment (and yes that includes the insurance companies) are woefully behind on the latest research on chronic pain. Until they get up to speed, programs like these are not covered and are the responsibility of the person living with pain.
